Yomtob’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics, Statistics, and Political Science from Bar Han University in Israel, providing him with a strong foundation in economic principles and international affairs.

His professional journey comprises training at prestigious financial institutions in Paris, France, including Banque Paribas and Lehman Brothers, as well as Bankers Trust in New York, USA. These experiences have equipped him with a deep understanding of financial analysis, credit evaluation, and international relations.

Yomtob’s extensive career encompasses critical roles in renowned financial institutions, making him well-versed in the intricacies of finance and global dynamics. He has served on the Board of Directors at Unico Mortgage and Investment Bank, where he specialized in financing infrastructure and construction projects. Yomtob’s visionary leadership shone through as he founded and presided over Israel American Leasing Ltd, pioneering financial leasing operations across various sectors in Israel, leaving an indelible mark on the industry. His financial acumen and leadership capabilities have been evident in positions held at Misrahi Tefahot Bank and Israel Airports Authority.

Beyond his finance career, Yomtob is an active participant in public initiatives, reflecting his commitment to making a positive impact in both finance and international relations. He established Yad La’Oleh, a voluntary independent movement that supports children from deprived immigrant families in pursuing their studies and contributing to the country’s integration. Yomtob’s dedication to social causes is further exemplified in his involvement with ORT, the world’s largest vocational training NGO, where he served on the Board of ORT Israel and as Chairman of its Control Commission. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role in supporting a fund with Bar Ilan University, providing financial aid to math students from financially deprived backgrounds.
